Winter is now upon us with Christmas carols filling the air, the weather getting colder and the first signs of snow! While most couples shy away from the thought of a winter wedding, there are many reasons you may want to reconsider. Having a first look in your wedding has been cropping up all over the place these days and you may be wondering if a “first look” is right for your wedding! Essentially, the “first look” is a period of privacy (apart from photography/videography staff) where the bride and groom see each other for the first time on their wedding day. This’ll be the first time they see each other in their wedding attire and usually precedes the ceremony and rest of the night. You may be wondering… what’s the point? Lisa & Ryan had their wedding (06/03/16) ceremony and reception at the Estate of Three Village Inn. While the day began with an overcast sky and small chance for rain, Lisa and Ryan began their preparations for the wedding shortly after 1 PM.
